Buckland Benefits from Government and Lib Dem Influence

The recent news that Bucklands Haytor View School in Quennsway is to benefit from a massive investment of Government cash for either a major refit or even a brand new build is truly great news, and will benefit children for many years to come. I am hoping that it will be built to the highest environmental standards, of course, but that is for the future. I know the school are equally keen on that. This is the second piece of good news for the school in the recent past. As a direct consequence of Lib Dems in Government the school is receiving over £64,000 extra this year via the Pupil Premium. Add that to the raising of the income tax threshold and the largest increase in the state pension for at least a generation, if not ever, and despite all the negative stories in the national media, the Lib Dem influence on Government is benefiting many, and certainly there are those on Buckland who either are or soon will be better off as a consequence.
