The new school building at Haytor View, Queensway was issued with it’s Practical Completion Certificate today (Friday 4th September) This was due to have been issued earlier in the week, but the delay has meant that the staff have been unable to gain access til 12.30 today, and consequently have not had time to set the school up to re open as planned on Monday (7th). I expect the children are in tears ( probably the parents are!) that the decision has been taken to delay the opening til next Thursday.(10th)
