The planning application for 4 dwellings at 2, St Lukes Road will not be accepted by the planning officer. Negotiations are now to be held between TDC planners and the developer to see what may/may not be acceptable. My understanding is that it is a question of 2 or 3 units, but certainly not 4. Both Cllr Colin Parker and myself have made representations to the planners, as have many residents, suggesting quite firmly that 4 units was far too many for the available site.
