Any regular readers of my blog will have noticed it has not been added to in the last 10 days or so. I have been away from base trying to get some warm and dry air. I have been to southern Spain and experienced what I believe is called an extreme weather event. When it wasn’t raining heavily it was raining torrentially; we experienced a thunderstorm lasting perhaps 8 or 10 hours and a 26 year old woman drowned a short distance from where we were staying. A man in his car was also swept away. It was not a good experience, and one I have no wish to repeat any time soon.
If anyone missed the blog, thank you and apologies. For reasons beyond either my control or understanding I was refused access from abroad. I hope to make up for lost time.
