I have my house on the market; I need to sell so that I can buy the “house of my dreams” ( well, at least the house that I would very much like…..) I received a phone call this morning from the agent, saying that an offer on “my” house had been accepted, so I’ve lost the purchase I really wanted.
That’s life, and it’s full of disappointments. However, when I measure my angst against the emotions right now of those living in almost any other part of the world…Mexico City/The Virgin Islands and other Caribbean Islands/ Syria/Ethiopia/Burma to name but a very few…what is my set back compared to theirs ? I actually have everything I need and virtually everything I want. So I give thanks for what I have and offer up a prayer for those currently suffering utter misery in various parts of the globe. What is my disappointment compared to so many others?

IMO virtually every resident of the British Isles should be grateful we live where we do, as opposed to…………..
