The power wash of the Penn Inn subway was postponed this morning (Friday) due to the freezing weather conditions, and will now be re programmed for Monday morning, temperatures allowing. The delay gives a little more time for a coordinated approach to washing and re painting to be organised…but I’m not holding my breath!

Good job u didnt hold your breath Gordon. What a mess the council have left penn inn subway in, half a job done, paint flakes everywere on the ground, half the graffiti still there and theyve only done one subway . Looks terrible. Hope they are going to finish it.
My understanding is that work is on going. It is proving more difficult and time consuming than originally thought. I have just heard that Devon County Council, whose responsibility it really is, have agreed to my requests to paint the sub way, and this should be done before the end of March. I sincerely hope they keep their word!
