Some good work has gone into the Penn Inn roundabout in the last couple of weeks and progress is being made. Volunteers have undertaken some really good preparatory work, and they are to be applauded, BUT NEXT THURSDAY (12 MARCH) is a critically important day. We need volunteers (ideally with forks…or spades… ) to dig out thistles and docks from a specific area where we hope to plant a wildflower meadow. Can you please help? The soil is in an ideal condition for the work ( ie moist and easily “diggable”) Together we can make a lasting impact on Penn Inn for the good of all. Please come along and offer your help …it will be hugely appreciated.
