I raised questions at County Hall this week ( based on recent experiences at Penn Inn ) re blocked drains. Apparently, County Highways are undertaking a 2 year survey of all drains to see if some block more rapidly then others, and therefore cause flood problems. If you know a gully that seems to block more frequently than it should, could you please let me know. I can add it to the list of those requiring more frequent cleaning than they are currently receiving. The survey doesn’t end til the end of March, but your help appreciated whenever.
