I’m very pleased to announce that the local talent show, which was such a success a couple of years ago, is to return next year on Saturday 14th July. Coombeshead College have again agreed to let the organisers ( Newton Crisis Aid) use their excellent theatre and the local paper, the MDA, have also agreed to provide publicity in support of the event.
Planning is under way, and the next such planning meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 7th November (7.30 pm) at the Avenue Church. Any/all interested in getting involved are welcome to come along and find out more.
Last time the charity raised a sum in the region of £1600, and a good sum is anticipated again at next years event. More details will be released as and when they are formalised. Stay posted…and get rehearsing!
