IMO It’s highly regrettable that no major UK politicians appear prepared to acknowledge what is becoming more glaringly obvious as each day passes, by which I mean the utter disaster that BREXIT has become.
In PMs questions today the PM claimed that our current economic sickness has nothing to do with Brexit. I say he is either lying ( because he knows the truth and is denying it) or delusional on the grand scale.
As a nation, we have not seen industrial action on the current scale for 50 years plus.
330,000 jobs have been lost due to Brexit and we have 58,000 fewer nurses. Just 2 examples of the impact, both of which put additional pressure on our workforce. We now have many 1,000’s fewer EU workers here and the NHS, for one organisation, is struggling as a direct consequence.
I do not say Brexit is the only cause of our decline, but it is a significant factor. It’s time our politicians started saying so, and working positively for an urgent improvement in our working relationship with the EU.
