A proposal has come forward to close a large number of public phone boxes across Teignbridge.
In my Newton Abbot South ward there are three such sites designated for closure. They are in Heath Park, Decoy Road and Aller Brake Road. In the last 12 months the Heath Park box has been used just three times, Decoy Road 58 times and Aller Brake Road only twice.
I hope all residents know I am always prepared to take up and fight any case, but unless someone can give me a very good reason to object to these boxes closing, I would find it very difficult to justify putting up a fight to save them. Please do not hesitate to give me reasons….
