I am pleased to be supporting the Great Keep Britain Tidy Event from March 3 – 5th next year. If you are prepared to help/support I would like to organise an event locally in Newton Abbot to mark the Spring Clean Up. Please let me know if keen to be involved.
The event is being supported/sponsored by a number of worthy and worthwhile organisations including the RSPCA, Marine Conservation Society and Keep Wales Tidy, amongst numerous others, one of which is McDonalds and another Costa, both of whom have a “bit of a reputation” as two organisations responsible for much of the litter which scars our local environment. That said, it isn’t these organisations faults that the by product of their commercial activity is a mass of litter…it is of course the ignorant members of the public who steadfastly refuse to dispose of their waste in the correct way.
